The Intrinsically Safe Thermal Camera Module for the Navigator Z1 is a dual-camera unit featuring both a 48MP standard sensor and a thermal sensor, allowing seamless switching between visible and infrared spectrums to capture heat signatures of your surroundings.

When connected to your RealWear Navigator Z1 device, it provides a hands-free experience in ATEX Zone 1 environments. The Thermal Camera helps workers detect gas leaks, scan for temperature anomalies, inspect pipelines for leaks or corrosion, and monitor equipment temperatures in real time, enabling early intervention, proactive maintenance, and safeguarding both infrastructure and workforce safety.

RealWear’s Thermal Camera Module has been developed in collaboration with FLIR, the world’s leading manufacturer of infrared products. It offers five modes, including Teledyne FLIR’s patented MSX® technology, which overlays visible light details onto thermal images for enhanced clarity. Once captured, your thermal images can be further analysed and refined using FLIR Thermal Studio Suite
