The ruggedised Ericsson Cradlepoint R980 is a powerful and adaptable 5G router, designed to thrive in environments such as emergency service and fleet vehicles, as well as near-shore vessels. Perfect for advanced applications and critical communications, it’s built for the 5G future and is ready for 5G network slicing with the deployment flexibility of eSIMs, allowing carrier switching without changing physical SIM cards (eSIM functionality will be available in future NetCloud updates).
Available with either NetCloud Mobile or Ruggedised IoT service plans, the R980 also provides a versatile option for IoT use cases in challenging environments such as oil and gas, utility, and smart city infrastructure.

Ericsson Cradlepoint S400: Secure IoT Connectivity with Zero-Trust Security
Designed to replace the highly popular COR IBR200, the Ericsson Cradlepoint S400 is a semi-ruggedised secure appliance and router specifically designed for supporting IoT applications. With flexible connectivity options, it is ideal for light industrial, digital signage, kiosk, and CCTV use cases among many others. Including a NetCloud Service Plan Secure IoT license, it also delivers management at scale, group policies, configurations and troubleshooting, plus connect and go zero-trust security.
The S400 features Cat 6 LTE for reliable and flexible connectivity in a compact form factor, and also includes passive GNSS for asset tracking and portable IoT use cases. In addition to its Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 5, and USB connectivity options, it is also field-expandable. Using its expansion module slot, organisations can customise the router to meet their evolving needs – adding serial, additional Ethernet or GPIO.
Combining these features with Ericsson’s NetCloud SASE Secure Connect, means the S400 delivers robust, secure, and adaptable IoT connectivity for a wide range of applications.
