It has been confirmed that the official European launch for CradlePoint’s COR IBR1100 will be at the Euro Bus Expo on November 4th, which is being hosted at the NEC Birmingham, UK.
The North America launch took place on October 13th at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) expo, and the transportation theme is being continued into the EU launch. The Euro Bus Expo is the leading trade fair for the bus and coach sector in Europe, featuring over 280 exhibitors and two seminar programmes run in parallel over the duration of the 3-day show.
And it’s no surprise that CradlePoint are continuing their focus on this sector for the product’s EU launch.
The COR IBR1100 features extended protection making it a super-rugged device which can handle extreme conditions – perfect for in-vehicle networking. It also offers the latest Wi-Fi (802.11ac), providing connectivity for up to 128 devices at high speeds and offering a large Wi-Fi footprint. It can provide the connectivity required to not only create this hotspot for secure passenger WiFi, but also to power digital signage, payment systems, surveillance cameras, driver tablet systems and GPS. Not surprisingly the new addition to the CradlePoint COR family is also suitable for application across a wide range of other industries, including Oil and Gas, Digital Signage, and Utilities. The product will be available for immediate order in Europe on the 4th November launch date from Westbase Technology – CradlePoint’s exclusive EMEA distributor. MSRP for the COR IBR1100 is £613.00. A non-WiFi version, named the COR IBR1150, will also be available to order from this date at an MSRP of £546.00.
If you would like to be part of the COR IBR1100’s launch then please contact us to arrange a meeting at the Euro Bus Expo in a few weeks’ time where Westbase Technology will be joining CradlePoint. We hope to see you there.
