Westbase Technology is pleased to introduce the new LTE-Advanced Cradlepoint COR IBR1100 router, delivering advanced networking in a rugged design.
Earlier this year Cradlepoint introduced their new LTE-Advanced networking range which incorporated their AER and ARC CBA series. Now they have extended this portfolio to include their highly popular COR IBR1100 router. LTE-Advanced, also known as CAT 6 LTE, delivers speeds which are 3x faster than standard (CAT 3) LTE and also offers increased capacity with additional bands available.
The new LTE-Advanced Cradlepoint COR IBR1100 will deliver increased capabilities at the network edge and even greater networking flexibility than the original CAT 3 model, which will also continue to be available to purchase. As with the earlier model, the LTE-Advanced COR IBR1100 will continue to feature a highly ruggedised design with certifications including:
- IP64 rating
- MIL STD 810G
- Class 1 Div 2
Built for tough environments, the LTE-Advanced Cradlepoint COR IBR1100 is perfect for construction, industrial and other hazardous locations, connecting applications such as rapid deployment, parallel networking and the Internet of Things.
It’s also built for in-vehicle networking, featuring ignition sensing technology, transient and reverse polarity voltage protection, and extended temperature protection. The new version with LTE-Advanced builds on the success of the original COR IBR1100, delivering even more advanced networking capabilities to the network edge.
With multiple connectivity interfaces including WiFi, Ethernet, digital and analogue I/O, serial and USB, the COR IBR1100 is highly flexible and can support multiple applications at a time. With the new benefits of faster speeds and greater capacity, it can take this even further.
