Cradlepoint Take Networking Further with New Hardware and Solution Packages

Cradlepoint Launch AER2200, IBR1700 and Updated IBR900

As part of their new software-first model, NetCloud Solution Packages, Cradlepoint introduces the all-new AER2200, AP22 WiFi Access Point, COR IBR1700, COR IBR600C for EMEA and an updated IBR900 – bringing the latest in networking to our channel and their customers.

Each of these new hardware appliances is purpose built to meet the requirements of a key market – branch, mobile, or IoT – and forms a part of Cradlepoint’s wider software-first packaging and pricing model, all available to buy now as NetCloud Solution Packages. These packages combine leading hardware with a limited lifetime warranty, a NetCloud software subscription, and a comprehensive support plan into a single SKU, offering a simpler solution for customers and accelerating their deployment and return on investment.

Cradlepoint AER2200 for the Modern Branch

The new Cradlepoint AER2200 is the world’s first LTE router with three-carrier aggregation and has an integrated LTE Advanced 600Mbps modem. This provides maximum network speed and enhanced reliability, making it a simpler and cost-effective alternative to fixed networks, but offering the same performance. With the advanced networking requirements of today’s enterprises demanding super-fast connectivity, the AER2200 provides the ideal solution. It also supports SD-WAN features for optimised active-dynamic connections, meaning that branch office networks are easier and more cost-effective to set up and manage.

The WiFi coverage provided by the AER2200 can be extended with the AP22 Access Point, which works with all AER Series routers to enable rapid and affordable deployment of 802.11ac Wave 2 in every branch, with a full security feature suite for protected connections. Both router and access point can be easily and remotely managed from a single pane of glass with NetCloud Manager.

Cradlepoint COR IBR1700, COR IBR600C and Upgraded IBR900 for Mobile Networks

Cradlepoint COR IBR1700

Meeting the need for fast, reliable and secure enterprise-grade mobile networking, Cradlepoint have launched the new COR IBR1700 and an upgraded COR IBR900. The IBR1700 is designed to extend the value of SD-WAN to mobile networks, and has three-carrier aggregation and an embedded LTE Advanced 600Mbps modem. With features including precision GPS with dead-reckoning, ignition sensing, reverse polarity and transient voltage protection, and ruggedised form factor, the IBR1700 enables location-based applications and is the perfect solution for in-vehicle networking in challenging environments.

The new COR IBR900-600M router has the same specification as the existing COR IBR900 router but has a faster 600Mbps LTE modem with SIM-based auto-carrier selection. It also has support for Cradlepoint’s Extensibility Platform elements: dual-modem dock, router SDK and NetCloud API, which extends the solution to vertical-specific applications. With its LTE Advanced modem, Wave 2 Gigabit WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet ports and active GPS, the IBR900-600M fully supports the most demanding mobile applications and makes it easier for organisations to stay connected on the road.

The COR IBR600C for EMEA is an updated version of one of Cradlepoint’s best-selling products to date, the IBR600. It promises to deliver the same flexible, scalable networking as its predecessor, but with updated and enhanced capabilities. These include a Cat 4 LTE modem, faster WiFi throughput, and increased VPN performance, allowing for an advanced, secure, cloud-managed IoT networking solution.
