Brexit: A Positive Outlook On the Monday After the Friday Before

Following the vote on Thursday 23rd June 2016 which determined that the UK will leave the European Union, Westbase Technology wants to reassure its customers that it is “business as usual”.

As a European-wide business Westbase is conscious that there will undoubtedly be market adjustments following the UK’s decision to leave the European Union, but we want to be clear that we will not allow this to disrupt our business focus and drive in the EU.

Westbase has invested interests across Europe and it will continue to be a significant part of our business; both in supporting existing business and helping in-region partners to expand new opportunities.

FASC has predicted a 45% CAGR in the number of wide-area-wireless M2M connections, predicting a market opportunity of $165Billion by 2020.

Berg has reported that IoT devices will grow at 20.1% CAGR to reach 239.7Million IoT units by 2019 – in which cellular, and in particular LTE, will have a prominent deployment role.

As well as seeing market development on a broader scale, we’re seeing growth across all vertical markets and applications for our technologies, and we will to continue to take advantage of this.

Our specific technology market continues to outpace the European economy, as it has done for several years.

The widespread availability of LTE and continued mobile operator investment across the region is driving significant demand for our products, as businesses find new ways to address their networking needs.
